How important are colors in a business logo?
What are the steps needed to make a good logo?
“You need to understand your client and listen to what their company is, so you can make a visual representation of it.”
If you know you could make a better design than what the client is asking for, do you make it anyways?
How important is it to know your client?
“It is very important to know your client because they determine if they want to use your design or not. If you do not please your client then you wasted all of your time and energy creating a design that they didn’t like.”
Can you reuse a design if the first client didn’t like it?
What happens if two logos are too similar?
“Your logo wouldn't be unique so when someone looks at it, they may think of another company. You can also be sued.”
How do you keep this from happening?
How long does it usually take to create a logo?
“It depends, some can take thirty minutes and some can take days depending on how complex the design is or if the client likes your design.”
What can you do to make it take less time?
What programs do you use to create your logos?
“There are many different programs you can use to create a logo, but I typically use PhotoShop or CorelDRAW.”
What are the benefits of using those programs?
What would you say is the best part about your job?
“I get to create something out of nothing and make people happy, plus it is really cool seeing my designs places.”
